Keith Cromwell has spent the last four decades in the world of show business, succeeding in virtually every role. Starting as an actor, he performed on- and off-Broadway, at Radio City Music Hall, in musicals, national tours, and on stages around the world. 

For 23 years, Keith led a regional non-profit, Red Mountain Theatre (RMT), culminating in opening a $35 million arts campus, sitting on a full city block in the heart of the thriving city of Birmingham, Alabama. During his tenure, he has supported new theatrical works, both in New York City and at RMT, having created the Human Rights New Works Festival, now in its sixth season. 

Keith has been awarded two Tony Awards, each as part of the producing teams on the revival of Once On This Island (Best Musical Revival, 2018), and Moulin Rouge! (Best New Musical, 2020). He also had the privilege of being a part of the teams that produced The Bridges of Madison County, Back to the Future, and New York, New York. Other honors include the Back Stage West Garland Award for Choreography (When Pigs Fly, 1999); The National Conference for Community and Justice's Brotherhood Award (2017); The Women's Committee of 100 for Birmingham's Citizen of the Year Award (2024); and The Alabama Conference of Theatre's Marian Gallaway Award (2024), in recognition of his advancement of theatre in the state of Alabama. He is a proud graduate of Leadership Birmingham (2007), and Leadership Alabama (2010-2011).

Keith dedicates his time to many boards, committees, and review panels, in particular, The National Endowment for the Arts, the National Alliance for Musical Theatre (Board Member Emeritus), and most recently, the boards of the Threshold Center (www.thethresholdcenter.org), The Birmingham Business Resource Center (www.mybbrc.biz), and Healing in Nature (www.hin-group.org). 

Keith has been a powerful force in furthering the integration of the arts into successful business practices. His coaching in the entrepreneurial sector has resulted in millions of dollars of capital being invested with cohorts at Techstars, EDPA Launchpad, Alabama Capital Network, and Innovation Depot. His work has continued in the C-suite, assisting hundreds of leaders deliver engaging keynote presentations. Keith's coaching strength has inspired CEO's and galvanized businesses across the country. His work bridges art, technology, and community progress through theatrical skills and leadership.
